Functional: Marketing Co-ordinator

The Marketing Co-ordinator will be responsible for the co-ordination and execution of marketing activities, aligned to BSG’s Marketing Plan (as defined by the Marketing Manager). Support of general day-to-day Marketing functions and administration, execution of communications plans, campaign tracking support, operational executional support and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.

This role will entail:

  • Support the Marketing team in execution of Marketing plans
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the Marketing team
  • Supplier management
  • Stock management and quality assurance of branded collateral
  • Events execution support

Job Objective

  • Support with planning and execution of campaigns and projects (including but not limited to maintenance of project status, creation of support material/collateral (with support), stakeholder management, and supplier management)
  • Support of day-to-day Marketing functions (including but not limited to sourcing appropriate suppliers, getting comparative quotes and selecting the best option (final sign off and costing approval to go through Marketing Manager))
  • Facilitating Marketing printing requirements (including but not limited to, branded collateral, banners/signage, external and internal communications material)
  • Updating Marketing calendar, as required
  • Storeroom and stock management (including, but not limited to management of Marketing storeroom and stock levels of branded collateral and quality assurance)
  • Support with internal and external events management (including creation (with support) of supporting collateral (e.g. invites / posters), management of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure seamless, quality delivery)
  • Social media support: Sharing content across official BSG social media platforms in line with agreed social media strategy
  • Brand Policing: Ensuring brand identity is upheld on all internal and external communications sent by the business
  • Facilitating good relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure that Marketing functions can be carried out in accordance with plans
  • Facilitation of good relationships within the Marketing team, ensuring open and functional communication

Experience

Minimum of 2-3 years working experience (preference to consulting environment exposure)

Qualifications

Degree (preferable) or diploma in Marketing or Marketing-related field (e.g. Advertising / Brand Management)
