Technology: Software/Technology Capability Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen at BSG for the role of a Software/Technology Capability Lead. The Capability Lead will be accountable for the following:

  • Accountable for the services provided by the Software Capability
  • Career facilitation of Senior Software team members
  • Careers of the Software Capability
  • Client delivery management for software portion of designated client relationships where necessary, including responsibility for integrating the Projects Office and escalation and resolution of key risks and issues
  • Development of BSG’s presence in industry and educational communities
  • Responsible for budgeting and financial management of the Software Capability
  • Recruitment and selection of people for the Software Capability

Qualifications:

Information Systems/Computer Science Honours Degree

Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge:

  • Performance management and staff motivation
  • Basic financial reporting and analysis
  • Project management
  • Software development methodologies including quality assurance
  • Online and offline networks
  • Presentation techniques
  • Critical writing
