Executive Personal Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented, quality-driven Executive Personal Assistant to support our CEO and Exec Chair

Our Johannesburg office is situated in Houghton Estate, within walking distance of the Rosebank Gautrain station.

Location: Johannesburg

Role type: Permanent. Will consider short-term contract (2-3 months) to allow for recruitment and selection of permanent placement

Main Purpose of the Role:

This role will entail supporting and assisting the CEO and Exec Chair, across BSG business/client-related and personal business, engagement, communication and administration. The Executive Assistant (EA) will be responsible for diary management, travel arrangements, assisting with business presentations/reports, general administration as well as the management of personal business. The EA will act as a conduit between the CEO/Exec Chair and business/clients. The EA will facilitate engagement with clients (new and existing) to establish and facilitate preparation of client information/marketing material for CEO/Exec Chair. The EA is responsible for ensuring all client records pertaining to CEO/Exec engagements/meetings are updated and current. The EA may be required to conduct research on potential new clients and will engage Marketing to formulate draft communications for CEO consideration

About the role

To support the CEO and Exec Chair and enable them to spend the majority of their time in meeting with clients, staff, partners and shareholders. To control access to the CEO/Exec Chair dairies and task logs, and remind them of important tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications
  • Matric plus relevant qualification
Experience
  • 8+ years relevant experience supporting at Executive level. Experience must include extensive/complex diary management. There must be proven ability to research, find relevant organisational contacts and make contact in order to secure meetings for CEO and/or Exec Chair
Knowledge:
  • Good understanding of general business context
