Role profile
The Digital Advisor guides organisations to create an aspirational plan that formalises their digital vision and is a leader of the execution plan to ensure results. The Digital Advisor plays a key role in strategic demand generation in partnership with Industry Leads. The focus of the Digital Advisor role is to create, design, and orchestrate the delivery of digital transformational programs of change with strategic clients.
Main Purpose of the Role
- Guide organisations to create an aspirational digital vision and lead the execution plan.
- Focus on digital transformational programs with strategic clients.
- Develop innovative ideas leveraging BSG’s skills, solutions, capabilities, and strategic partnerships.
About the role
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree (Honours and above relevant Business degree)
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Engineering, Sciences, Technology
EXPERIENCE
- Consulting experience (15+ years), Programme management (5+ years), IT Management (5+ years), Technology Architecture & Strategy (10+ years)
- Significant experience in either mining or financial services
- Deep understanding of BSG strategy and Game Plan
- Translate client business strategy into execution, focused on Digital Transformation (Data and AI, Process Automation, IoT, Digital Twins, Predictive Maintenance)
- Business Case Development with clear ROI
- Interaction with C-suite clients
- Executive presence, networking, confidence with ambiguity, strategic thinking, growth mindset, creativity
- Situational awareness to adapt and resolve challenges
- Broad understanding of current and emerging digital solutions
- Manage technology-enabled business change
- Deliver business value by leveraging technology
- Create Business Cases with clear ROI
- Proficient in Design Thinking, Business Cases, Roadmap creation
- Experienced in change management (people, processes, technologies)
