Role profile

Location: Johannesburg

This role provides high-level executive support to the Managing Partner and Executive Chair, while also coordinating Relationship Sales activities across Industry and Capability Leads.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Executive Assistant ensures optimal time management, seamless coordination of meetings and events, and efficient handling of both professional and personal logistics for executives. The role is pivotal in enabling BSG’s leadership to focus on strategic priorities and client engagement. 

About the role

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matric (essential) 
  • Relevant industry certification or diploma (desirable) 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience 
  • At least 5 years of complex diary management 
  • 5+ years in coordination and administration roles 
  • Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and managing confidential information 

Executive Support: 

  • Manage diaries, travel, and logistics for the Managing Partner and Executive Chair 
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, forums, and board sessions 
  • Handle personal administration and errands to optimize executive focus 

Relationship Sales Coordination: 

  • Support Industry and Capability Leads with client engagement logistics 
  • Maintain CRM records, prepare client communications, and coordinate follow-ups 
  • Assist with recruitment scheduling and university event coordination 

Reporting and Communication: 

  • Compile and distribute high-quality reports, presentations, and meeting minutes 
  • Track and report on client engagement trends and satisfaction metrics 
  • Manage executive expense claims and travel bookings
