Intro:
The Marketing Consultant will support with the development and execution of marketing plans to profile BSG to clients and potential clients, including generation of written collateral, social media management, website content creation and event management.
Main Purpose of the Role
- Working with BSG’s Marketing Manager, develop and execute plans to profile BSG to clients and potential clients
- Generating case study and opinion piece content in collaboration with business stakeholders
- Determining appropriate messaging and channels for dissemination of content created
- Working with the marketing team to plan and execute events designed to foster client relationships
- Managing BSG’s media relationships, including generation and dissemination of PR-related content, media monitoring and reporting
About the role
- Campaign Management: plan, execute, track and analyse campaigns aligned to overall marketing plan and business strategy
- Content Creation: working with business subject matter experts, generate case study and opinion piece content, manage design and dissemination thereof and maintain content repository
- Planning and Strategic input: create marketing plan for profiling BSG to clients and potential clients, generate content plan for external publishing opportunities, provide strategic input into overall marketing plan and content plans across channels,
- Media relationship management: create media relations plan and manage relationships with media ensuring positive brand sentiment, generation and dissemination of media releases, interview and/or round-table motivation content
- Design: provide guidance on imagery to support content, support with collateral development
- Reporting: monthly reporting to stakeholders regarding areas of ownership
Qualifications
- Marketing or Marketing-related Degree (e.g. Advertising / Brand Management), Honours advantageous
Experience
- 7-10 years’ experience (consulting industry experience advantageous)
